ALDI 3-22-13

Man, I love Aldi!  I had a small list of staples I needed, so I headed to Aldi because I knew I'd get the best deal there.  AND I know the few impulse buys I always fall for would be less at Aldi than it would be at Target.  (Go to Target for 5 things, an hour later I walk out with 20, none of which are the 5 I went for.  Anyone else do this?)

3 lbs onions - $1.49
Crackers - $1.69
generic nutter butters - $1.19  ** impulse!
3 nutellas - $2.19 each
2 natural peanut butters - $1.99 each
5 soy sauce - $1.19 each  ** on sale, so I got more than just the 1 I planned on
gallon 2% milk - $3.09
1 pound turkey lunchmeat - $3.49
generic cheetos - $0.99  ** impulse!
3 cream cheese - $0.99 each
hamburger buns for dinner tonight - $0.89
cheese slices for sandwiches - $1.99
2 8oz block cheese - $1.79

Total - $37.87

Haven't compared it to WalMart prices, but I usually would have spent more than twice the amount at Walmart, so I'm happy.  :-)
