Harris Teeter and CVS 3/31

I was going to take the week off from coupon shopping, but I still ended up going out.  I just can't help myself!  Harris Teeter's Saturday special was Gain laundry detergent - a favorite of my friend's, who can't afford it and I had to get this deal for her.  Another amazing deal was $0.99 eggs, which I'm a sucker for, especially this close to Easter.  So, I took Kara with me to get a few things.

FIRST, you have to see my little sweetie's first transaction ever - she bought a candy bar on sale.  Her total was $0.61, which she paid cash for ;-), and the saved $0.58! I'm so proud!!!!  :-)

That sassy feeling you get when you save:

Okay, here's what boring old mommy got:

6 Yakisoba meals - $1.19 on sale B1G1 free, makes them $0.59 each.
used $1 off 2 coupon, making them $0.09 each

2 dozen eggs - on sale for $0.99 each

2 gain laundry detergents - on sale for $3.77 each

2 glad trash bags - on sale for $3.77 each

3 SmartBalance milks (half gallon) - $3.99 on sale B1G1 free, makes them $1.99 each.
used $1.50 coupon, making them $0.49 each

2 McCormick Recipe Creations (or whatever they're called) - $1.99 on sale for $0.99
used $1 off 2 coupon, making them $0.49

2 Stouffer's lasagnas 38oz - $8.45 on sale for $5.99
used $2 coupon, making them $3.99 each

Total worth:  $77.44
I spent $28.94
I saved $48.50, or 63%

Then we stopped at CVS for some Dove bar soap for a friend (the same one who loves Gain) that I knew was on sale this week.  Here's how the deal worked:

2 6pks Dove bar soap
On sale for $6 each
Used 2 $1 coupons
Earned $4 ECB
Works out to $3 per 6pk, or $0.50 a bar

Pretty good!
