In case you're wondering about the math for the commissary trip, the commissary has a flat 30% lower rate on all prices compared to elsewhere, so I add it for myself to what I saved. Also, I returned the deodorant to Food Lion because they had a much better deal per oz at Shoprite.

Again, the original prices are higher than you could maybe find somewhere else, but the final prices on these things are lower than you could find anywhere!

Still loving couponing!!!!! :-)

You are doing such a great job!!! Have you tried CVS? It took me a bit to figure it out. Get a card... I ONLY buy things with rewards back and that I have a coupon for... so I get it for cheap... and then with the reward bucks (2 or 3 dollars often)-I can use those towards the next purchase and practically get the next items for free (again buying items where I get bucks back) to use towards the next and it cycles... great way to get toothpaste, body wash, shampoo, razors, etc. for free... It might say 2/6.97 with 3 extra bucks so it's like paying 2/3.97 (and if you have a Q you could pay 2/2.97 or something... If you don't have a card go get one-then view the circular in the Sunday paper and see if you get it-then just go browse.

Thanks for the encouragement, Sheryl! :-D I still have to work on not spending so much. I don't necessarily need all that stuff.
I keep thinking CVS will be good, but for the last 3 weeks it really hasn't been. I compare the sale price of the items (even with the extra bucks) and it's still more expensive than the commissary. I guess I just don't understand CVS yet. Maybe tomorrow morning I'll see the new sale flyer and find something good in it. Also, there aren't any CVS coupons and I REALLY like to stack - especially when the store will double the MQ, which I don't think CVS does.
