I never want to forget what Kara said.
She was in the shower this evening when we got the news that Tim is in heaven now. I let her know through the shower curtain, unable to hug her, and left her to think a bit on it.
Five minutes later when she was finishing up in the shower, I asked how she was and she said (through tears) she has been thanking Jesus Christ for dying on the cross so that we can all go to heaven when we die, if we believe. She said she was grateful Papaw got to be in heaven right now.
She said she felt so badly for her little cousins who didn't understand that yet. And how they might not remember him. She is old enough that she will always remember him.
I hugged that sweet baby so tightly!
