Floors - Day #2

Look at all the work they did today!!

Here's the mudroom - without the new cabinets, counters, or light fixture.  But, those floors are lovely.  (And I'm sure you all noticed the hard work I did taking the wallpaper border down, right?)

 You can see they still have some work to do on the step down into the family room, and they haven't touched that room yet either.

 Here are the vents.  They're currently unfinished, but they're solid cherry also and they are flush with the tops of the floors.  So lovely.

 The dining room.  You saw it yesterday, but just wanted to show you again.

 The formal living room.  Doesn't it look good?  The feet of the furniture have carpet under them, but I need to buy those little pad things to put under the feet so the floors don't get scratched.

Here's the other end of the formal living room, looking into the dining room and you can see a sneak peek of the ovens.  The dark color of the armoire looks really lovely with the floors.  Actually, I think it's the same color as the island.  Love.  It.

They'll be back Monday to do the family room and the shoe molding around the whole first floor.  Tomorrow we get a little break from the noise, and I'm ready for it.  So grateful for the beautiful job they're doing!

P.S.  My old floor looks better in their van on it's way to the dump!
