Best Friends

Today I spent the day with my best friend (Lara) and her husband and two little girls. We met at my mom's pool at 1:00 and swam until dinner time. We ate at my house since there are three kids under 5: we ordered delicious food from Angelico's, who deliver! After that we played spades, just like we used to before we had kids. It was so much fun and brought me back to 7 years ago when we would meet every week to play. Wow, things have changed, but our friendship is still great. The girls were awesome - Kara and Emily played extremely well together and were very well behaved, while little Ava crawled under our table and didn't stray while we played cards. Ah, what a great day!!!!
