Minecraft

Kara used switches and things to create music in her Minecraft game.

You can see the switch has the lights off.

 The switch has one side turned on.

 Now the other side is on.

 Each of those sides are connected to music boxes via "redstone," which is kind of like an electrical cord.

 Both music boxes being activated at the same time.

 One music box.

 Now the other music box.

It plays a little two noted beat.  Yes, my child is absolutely brilliant.  ;-)  I am definitely putting these in her home school portfolio.  There has to be some lesson about electricity or circuits or something in there.  I'm glad to see this video game she is obsessed with is educational.  ;-)
