Good Day

First things first:  around lunch time yesterday I first hear the beeping of the battery backup for the sump pump.  By dinner time tonight, the sump pump was replaced and the yard was fixed.  There were roots in the line and they are dug up now.  EVEN BETTER, the guy was able to snake the drain instead of dig up my yard, so the yard still looks great.  It cost a pretty penny, but I am going to look at it as a gift for the future home owners.  They won't have to worry about this for years to come.

We had two showings today and one of them said they are interested and may put a contract on the house.  The house has been on the market for two weeks, to the day.

Here are two pictures I got of the Alabama house.  It's good to keep your eyes on the prize.  ;-)

View from the driveway.  The hole in the left
is the front porch.  The walls on the right
are the garage.

View from the other side.  He is standing
in the guest bedroom looking back at the
garage and pantry.  You can see the
white boat garage in the background.
The poor guys baked in the 100 degree heat.  They had to quit at 3:00.  Bless their hearts.
