West Coast Vacation - Day 7

We slept amazingly well in a quiet cabin on the ocean.  Ah, I needed that.  We actually slept in pretty late!  We didn't have very much to see in Forks, so we had a nice relaxing morning with TWO cups of coffee.  Nice.

First thing we did was check out the eagles.  We have them around here, but you have to be in a kayak or bass boat to see them (which I don't get to do nearly often enough).  We even saw a sea lion hanging out and making all sorts of cute barking noises.

By the time we got to Forks, it was lunch time, so we hit the pizza place and planned what we'd do for the day.  We decided to drop Kara off at the playground with Grandma so Christina and I could geek out in Forks alone.  It was such a beautiful day, which was uncharacteristic for the town, but so lovely.

Where Dr. Cullen works

Bella Swan's house.  The house is on the market, so it's off the tour and we just took a picture from the street instead of posing in the driveway.

The actual sign from the movie!

They have a whole twilight display in the town hall, including Charlie Swan's police uniform.  :-)

Jacob's house!

Jacob is my favorite.  :-)

After seeing what we wanted to see, we grabbed a quick dinner and chilled at the cabin.  Kara met some friends at the beach (my poor, unsocialized homeschool daughter finds friends wherever she goes, TOTALLY not what I did as a kid, who went to public school), so they came over and played on our deck while we packed.

They were the sweetest girls ever and I was so glad they had so much fun together.

Tomorrow we drive to Seattle and have dinner with another cousin.  The next day we head home.  How is this vacation almost over???
