Publix, ALDI, and CVS 10-27-18
Today I did the week's worth of shopping. My goal is to stay under $100 for groceries and CVS coupon shopping, but I went over this week. S'okay. I was under last week - while I was dealing with the flu, my mom went grocery shopping for me (and I spent $60). Aren't moms great??
At Publix I spent $51.26, and saved $44.68, which is 47%. Not too bad, considering I only used one coupon. The rest (besides the milk) was buy one, get one free sales.
Here is my ALDI trip. If I was trying to be super good with my budget, I would have only bought one pot roast, instead of three. Instead, I was just thinking about stocking up.
I spent $58.96, $33.40 of that was the three pot roasts. After looking everything up, I would have spent $64.53 at Walmart. That's a savings of only $5.57. Nothing amazing, but still cheaper.
Finally was CVS.

Here are my CVS sales:
2 4pks Schick disposable razors
On sale, B1G1 50% off
Used $3 CVS paper coupon
Used $5 Manufacturer's coupon
I paid $5.48 for both, or $2.74 each
3 Covergirl blush
Original price $5.39 each
Used $4 off $15 coupon
When you spend $15, get $8 bucks back
I paid $4.17 for all 3, or $1.39 each
Reese's cups
On sale for $0.99
Used $0.74 paper coupon
I paid $0.25
Original price for all $35.40
I paid $9.90
I saved $25.50, which is 72%
If I bought those few things from CVS at Walmart, I would have spent $23.15. Since I only spent $9.90, I saved $13.25, which is 57%.
So, my totals for today are:
Publix - $51.26
ALDI - $58.96
CVS - $9.90
Total - $120.12
I saved:
Publix - $44.68
ALDI - $5.57
CVS - $25.50
Total saved - $75.75, which is 39%.
Not amazing like my coupon days, but pretty good for shopping sales only. (Well, I had a plan for CVS.)
