Swains Visit

Our dear friends from Maryland drove down to stay with us for a few days.  And you'll never believe it - it snowed!  Apparently it snowed in Texas and Florida too.  What a cold front!

Not really enough snow to play in, but these kiddos have
been playing in the snow together their entire lives.
They'll find something to do!

The moms went outside for a few pictures,
but we spent all day by the fire with
nice, warm coffees.

Lots of yummy kid food. (Translation - loads of tater tots
and all manor of chicken nuggets.  Here you see pizza.)

The kids could not sit close enough to Kara.  They had to
have their chairs touching, but I'm sure they'd sit on her
lap if they could!

The snow was gone before the day even
ended, but the next morning I could still
see some in my old pots.

All the kids got to do horse lesson.

Before we knew it, it was time to say goodbye. 

Friends who are like family.  Is there anything more precious?
