Nothing to say
This day slipped by without me really doing anything. Kara slept over my mom's house (as she does every Sunday night), so I slept in - way in. Until 10:45. It was very yummy! :-)
When Kara came home soon after that, she has a cold and yet ANOTHER abscess brewing, so she was very sleepy and happy to chill with Spongebob and have a nice long nap. Fine with me! I thought to myself, I can either get up and do a bunch of chores, or I can enjoy this and just relax. I chose relax! :-) I can do laundry any time and the house is clean enough for today.
Kara woke up soon after Michael came home and needed me to cuddle with her (she always needs mommy after she wakes up with a cold). I decided while she was watching cartoons, I could research abscesses and decide what to do. Heating pads, hot baths, medicine, etc. I have a game plan and made an appointment with Kara's pediatrician tomorrow too. We're going to get a referral to an infectious disease specialist - just to check stuff out. You know me, I feel better with a plan.
Dinner of tortellini for us, pb&j for Kara. We played in the living room as a family while we watched some nature shows. Then bath and bed time. At 10:15 as Michael and Kara were almost asleep, I remembered I've been awake less than 12 hours - I'm not tired yet! So, now I'm doing laundry and making my California trip list.

Yesterday Kara said, why can't I see my Mamaw? I said, she lives far away, do you think we should go see her soon? She said, yes, I really miss her.
