What I know so far

Well, it's Friday at 2:00 and we put our offer in Monday morning.  We were waiting for the fourth owner to get back into the country and they are meeting about it today.  It is getting sticky since the 9 acres out front and the 10 acres in the back are owned by different people.  We're not sure if they're going to ask us to make two separate offers, or what.  So far they haven't mentioned anything about the price - we only know what we do because our realtor ran into them while doing other tasks for work.  It's fortunate we know this much!

I'm pretty sure the land will be ours, it's just a matter of time and money.  The fourth investor is going to be out of town Nov 11-Dec 5, so we might hurry to close before he goes, or sit back and wait until he gets back.  Come on!  We want to give you tons of money for your property - can't you work with us?  Well, maybe I'm being a little impatient.  :-)

The good news is the initial guess for how much it would cost to run electricity, water, gravel driveway, phone, etc, is coming in much cheaper than we thought.  I guess that means if they counter offer, we can just say yes.

Stick firm to your offer...it has been on the market for two years...you hold all the cards right now. Just my unsolicited two cents worth!! :-)
