Target 7-28-13

After CVS, I went to Target.

They were having an awesome deal where if you buy $40 worth of certain items, you got $10 off.  It was great!

This is what I got for that deal:
I got 4 12-pks of Dr. Pepper - Originally $5.29 each
On Sale for $3 each, which makes them $12 for all 4

2 42oz bags M&Ms
On Sale for $9 each, which makes them $18 for both

4 Skippy Natural Peanut Butters
On Sale for $2.50 each, which makes them $10 for all 4

I'm up to $40, so I used my $10 coupon AND I had a $1 off 2 peanut butters coupon.

The price breakdown works out to
4 Dr. Peppers - $2.25 each
2 M&Ms - $ 6.75 each
4 Peanut Butters - $1.63 each

Then I needed floss picks, so I got 2 of those, I had a $1 off 2 coupon
I paid the original price of $3.49, so with the coupon I got them for $2.99 each

Of course I couldn't skip the clearance shelves!

I got a few gums and mints for Kara:
4 6pk '5' gum - $0.26 each
1 Ice breakers berry flavored - $0.50
large Orbit berry gum - $0.88
Oh, and I got some dried strawberries for myself - $1.18
coffee filters - $1.30

According to my receipt, I saved $26.44 in sales and coupons, which means it is all worth $65.04.

I spent $38.60, with tax, so I saved 41%.  For Target, I'm very happy with that.  (When else can you get 12-pks of soda for $2.25 and peanut butter that cheap - peanut butter isn't even that cheap at Aldi, on sale!)
