Snowy Days

We got a good storm today. We woke up so sleet, rain, and snow, so half the state shut down. By 11am, everything was just wet except driveways - that was up to us to shovel. Done! Then around 4pm I saw lightning and heard lots of thunder. What? Then the snow started and got heavier and heavier. We're probably going to end up with 6ish inches, but that's a lot for poor little Maryland. We don't know what we're doing. This is a true story of what happened while we sat at one traffic light for the period of 60 seconds. A truck was sitting in the middle of the intersection. We slowed down and stopped until we figured out what he was doing. Then he drove away. Um, if you could do that then what were you doing in the intersection? So, we got stuck as the light turned red because of that guy. Then we watched a plow drive by with the plow up - not doing anything (while there are 3 inches of snow on the ground). And right after him, a small car (not suitable for snow) drove by with it's car covered, not brushed off, lights covered and looking very dark, AND one headlight completely out. All while driving on a donut. Yes, we cannot handle snow in this state. Hopefully it'll all be melted in a few days!! I'm praising God for a warm dry house and a great evening in with my family - we rented Despicable Me. (So funny by the way!)

I wondered about that movie. I thought it looked funny.
