Tuesday, September 1st

Today Kara and I spent the day hanging out around the house while I started packing and getting ready for our trip tomorrow. (We're going to Texas to visit my uncle, cousins, and their kids.) She enjoyed hanging out with my mom this morning. First she snuggled with her a bit in blankets (so cute!), then she played with the card that has a recordable message (she laughed so hard at hearing her own voice), then she read her book to grandma. After my mom left, she played computer games for a while and I got to work. Now it's dinner time and she's going to bed around 7. It's nice when she goes to bed early, but not having that nap break is always a little hard on me!
