Two peas in a pod

Well, Michael is better, thanks to no one nursing him.  :-)  Over the weekend while Michael was laying on the couch miserable, I left Kara home with him to play minecraft by herself so I could go shopping with my mom (where we bought nothing, but ate lunch and wandered around the mall, then sat on her couch talking for hours), then hang out with my sister and her husband.  All in all, it was a great deal for me and Kara just wanted to relax with her computer since she's done really well with school lately.

Meanwhile, I come home to my two favorite people snuggled on the couch with an electric blanket and food wrappers all around.  They were sharing Michael's tablet.  Kara has decided that everything Michael does is awesome, everything he says is true, and she wants to be just like him - even if that means taking up the bad habit of biting her nails.  (I told her she cannot pick up bad habits from him just because she wants to be like him.)

Now the two of them are off watching "cool videos," while I have a lot of free time to clean watch tv.  It turns out they are educational videos, but if Michael deemed them cool, they are cool.

Man, that brought tears to my eyes! What a great dad he is! Loved the one of them in front of the fan listening to the sound as they spoke or yelled into it! :D My FAVORITE one was of him hugging her in the chair by the Christmas tree.....the smile on his face tells all!
