Deep Creek Lake - Day 6
After our "adventurous" day rafting, we decided to take it easy the next day. While we weren't really sore from the effort of rowing, our bumps and bruises were seriously hurting.
So, Michael and Tony went fishing, Dad got a massage, and us ladies went to lunch and shopping. Well, I shopped and they all did pedicures. I went to Cato (which we don't have here) and found boots, jeans, and shirts. It was really fun!
My parents went out for an early dinner, but we weren't hungry yet, so we stayed home. When we were hungry, they were just coming home, so we headed out and left Kara home with them. Well, all of Kara's nights of not enough sleep caught up with her and mix that with a little anxiety and she was not well. We turned around and came home and I gave her headache medicine, and sent her to bed for a nap. I sat in the sitting area outside her room up on the second floor with my mom while we spied on Kara's nap.
When Kara woke up, she was good as new and we got a fire going. Well, we tried to have a fire after dinner and we got rained out. We put a tarp up, but the thunder, lightening, and pouring rain had us running for the house. lol!
Well, let's all head to bed early and get ready for our final full day tomorrow. We are renting a boat and a tube and going to enjoy the lake!
