Our May (and some June) Summed Up in Six Quick Things

1.  Kara got her hair cut.  I cut about 8 inches off my hair last month and she had 8 inches cut off hers today.  We love it!!

This is what it looked like before (too dry and too heavy, not to mention too much for her to take care of):

2.  We were sent to an orthodontist because Kara's adult tooth hasn't come in on her upper left side.  Here is a look at her X-rays:

The X-rays are reversed.  Her upper left is
actually the upper right here.

After a closer look, we aren't sure there is a tooth even up there.  The roots are either very small, or non-existent.  So, we won't rearrange her whole mouth with $6000 worth of braces for two years for a tooth that hasn't fully matured.  If there is any tooth in there, we will probably pull it.  We had better x-rays done and will go back to discuss pulling the tooth at the end of June.

3.  I finally got around to putting up the stickers I ordered a long time ago in my laundry room.  The light isn't good with the window there, but I'm really happy with how it turned out.

4.  We have three turkeys that hang out in our front yard.  Michael adores them - he feeds them regularly and can see them from his office window.  He named them Dressing, Gravy, and Biscuit.  We also have a little woodchuck that lives out front - Michael named him Chucky.  And on Sunday we saw THREE baby dear.  They were so playful and precious!

5.  Here are cute kitty pictures.

6.  Here are some pictures of our view:

LOVE Kara's hair cut!
Sounds like Michael is planning on having some turkey at some point! My question is.....who is going to kill them and clean them and get them ready for cooking?
LOVe the last picture of the sunset (?) Beautiful view.....so blessed, you are!

Lol! Michael would never shoot those turkeys. He loves them and feeds them. Besides, we like our turkeys post cleaning. ;-)
That was actually the sunrise. It was so red that day. Yes, ma'am, we are so blessed to live in a beautiful spot. Praise God. <3
