New Curtains - Dining Room and Living Room

Here are the curtains I picked for the dining room and living room. I wanted them to go well since those rooms are open to each other and have the same color palette, so I picked the exact same curtains. I think they're really pretty, even though I was nervous about the gold in them clashing with the beige paint. Since it was so hard to find curtains that matched the purple walls, I picked curtains with gold in them to look nice with the purple. The lady that helped me in JCPennys suggested I buy a lot of purple accessories, like pillows, to go with the wall. What do you think about the way they look next to the furniture in the living room?
